CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College lacrosse team and Head Coach Bowen Holden have released the team's fall schedule for 2009. The first semester for the student-athletes is highlighted by a team run youth clinic for elementary, middle and high school lacrosse players and participation in four tournaments between September 19 and October 31.
Additionally, the Eagles will join other BC alumni, friends and families in the Red Bandana Run on September 19. This 5K run around the BC campus honors the life and legacy of Welles Remy Crowther '99 who was killed on September 11, 2001. He was a former men's lacrosse player and his sister, Honor, played for the women's team, graduating in 2001.
The Eagles will host the Friends of Jaclyn Fundraising Youth Clinic at 12:30 p.m. on September 19, followed by the annual alumnae game to be held at 3:00 p.m.
BC will then play in a tournament at Harvard on Sunday, October 4 before hosting a tournament of their own on Monday, October 10. Additional matches are scheduled at New Hampshire on October 17 and at Brown on October 31.
