Day 2 Action at the ICSA National Championship
San Francisco, Calif. - The BC women's sailing team sits in third place after day two of racing at the National Championships in San Francisco, Calif. The Eagles lead the B-Division and stand third overall with 88 points, just 15 points behind first place Yale and nine behind Old Dominion.
Boston College sophomore Annie Haeger and junior Briana Provancha finished in the top three in half of their eight races and lead B division. Seniors Leigh Kempton/Carrie Amarante and Martha Pitt/Lily Beck split the day in A division and struggled with their starts but managed keep the Eagles within striking distance of the lead. Racing concludes this afternoon, with a schedule of 14 total races.
