Women's Rowing Races Against Holy Cross and Buffalo

Boston College women's rowing competed against Holy Cross and Buffalo on Saturday, April 25, on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. Despite sunny skies and record-high temperatures, the teams faced a strong headwind throughout the duration of the regatta.
BC entered crews in the Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, and Novice Eight.
In the Varsity Eight, BC placed second in a time of 7:20, behind Buffalo (7:07).
The Second Varsity Eight crew finished in third place with a time of 7:48. In the close race, Holy Cross finished second in a time of 7:46 and Buffalo took first place in 7:43.
The Eagles took second place in the Novice Eight in a time of 8:27.
Boston College returns to action on Saturday, May 2, in the Beanpot on the Charles River in Boston, Mass. This year's Beanpot regatta will feature Northeast rivals Boston University, Harvard, Northeastern, Columbia, and MIT.
