Women's Golf Finishes 12th at Hoya Invitational

The Boston College women's golf team placed 12th out of 15 teams in the Hoya Invitational held from March 30-31 at the Members Club at Four Streams in Beallsville, Maryland.
In the three-round tournament, BC fired team scores of 337, 345, and 328 on the par-72, 6,127 yard course.
The Eagles were led by Meghan Martinek who fired a three-round score of 240 (+24) for a share of 19th place. It was Martinek's sixth top-20 finish of the 2008-2009 season.
Stephanie Hu finished in a tie for 27th place with a score of 245 (+29), including a team-low 78 in Tuesday's final round. Kelsey Rockey (T-62) and Carolyn Barbee (T-70) rounded out the top 4 for the Eagles.
The Eagles will compete this weekend from April 4-5, at the Brown Invitational, held at the Thorny Lea Golf Club in nearby Brockton, Mass.
