Men's Golf Finishes Eighth at Towson Invitational

The Boston College men's golf team took eighth place at the Towson Invitational held at the Prospect Bay Country Club in Grasonville, Maryland.
The Eagles recorded a three-round team score of 908, including a second round score of 295, the fifth best among the 17 teams in the competition.
Robert DeMaio had the best individual showing on the team, following a first round 78 with consecutive scores of 73 to finish at 8-over par and in a tie for 20th place.
Kevin Melnick finished four strokes behind DeMaio with a three round score of 228 for a share of 35th place. Jan Prokop fired even par scores of 72 in the second and third rounds for a 229 total and a share of 41st place.
The Eagles will head to Greenville, North Carolina for the Ironwood Invitational, hosted by East Carolina from April 4-5.
