Boston College was selected as the seventh-seeded team in the NCAA Tournament's Midwest Regional and will play USC (Southern California) on Friday, March 20 at 6:20 p.m. (Central time; 7:20 Eastern time).

USC is the 10 seed in the Midwest Regional.

The teams' first-round meeting will mark the second-ever meeting between the Eagles and the Trojans. The only other contest was the teams' 2001 NCAA Tournament second-round meeting, which USC won 74-71.

BC enters the tournament with a 22-11 mark. The Eagles finished the ACC schedule with a 9-7 record.
