Kelli Stack Named Hockey East Player of the Week

Chestnut Hill, MA - Boston College women's ice hockey junior forward Kelli Stack has been named the Hockey East Player of the Week according to a press release from the league earlier this afternoon.
Stack (Brooklyn Heights, OH) led the Eagles in scoring in three games this past week. She recorded 2 points (1g, 1a) in BC's 3-1 victory over Northeastern in the first round of the Women's Beanpot on Tuesday and added 4 points (2g, 2a) in a two game weekend series with Maine.
Three of her six points (2g, 1a) were scored while the Eagles were shorthanded.
Stack and the Eagles face off against the Crimson of Harvard University on Tuesday, February 8 at 8 p.m. in the championship game of the 31st Annual Women's Beanpot at Northeastern's Matthews Arena.
