Mary Restuccia Named Rookie of the Month by Hockey East

Chestnut Hill, MA - Women's ice hockey freshman forward Mary Restuccia has been named the Hockey East Mission Rookie of the Month according to an announcement by the league earlier today.

Restuccia (Chester Springs, PA) scored eight points on 29 shots (5g, 3a) in nine games in the month of January. She tallied multiple point games against Northeastern (2g, 1a) on January 15 and four points (2g, 2a) in two games against Vermont, January 24 and 25. Restuccia was +2 for the month.

The Eagles are back in action tonight, February 3, at 8 p.m. as they take on Northeastern in the first round of the 31st Annual Women's Beanpot at Matthews Arena at Northeastern University.
