Volleyball Drops Match To Georgia Tech, 3-0

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College volleyball team fell to Georgia Tech 3-0 on Friday night, in the Power Gymnasium in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
The Eagles dropped to 11-14 on the year while the Yellow Jackets improved to 17-7.
BC managed to put forth nine kills and a .129 hitting percentage in the first set and an additional 11 kills in the second to try and overpower the Yellow Jackets early in the match. Georgia Tech was ready, however, and took the opening sets 25-20 and 25-18.
The third set showed the Eagles' best efforts as the team tallied 12 kills and a .296 hitting percentage. GT countered with a strong attack of its own and the Eagles fell in the third set, 25-19.
Senior Taylor Williams led all players in the match with 14 kills while sophomore Brennan Clark's 20 digs were tops for BC.
Boston College will remain in Chestnut Hill this weekend, as it will host Clemson on Sunday, November 8 at 12:00 p.m.
