CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College volleyball team fell to Florida State, 3-0 on Sunday afternoon in the Power Gym in Chestnut Hill.
BC dropped to 11-9 this season while Florida State moved to 17-2.
The Eagles knew they were facing one of the top teams in the nation from the start and looked to get started early rather than later in the match.
BC launched eight kills at the Seminoles in the first set and seven in the second, but could not overcome the constant barrage that Florida State returned, and fell to the Seminoles, 3-0 in the match.
Senior Taylor Williams and freshman Morgan Fry-Pasic led the Eagles with five kills each and junior Kristen Baader recorded 23 digs.
BC will return to the Power Gym on Friday, Oct. 23, when it will host Virginia Tech at 7:00 p.m.
