Men's Golf Takes Seventh at the Mission Inn Invitational

Howey-In-The-Hills, Fl- At the par 71 Mission Inn Invitational the Boston College men's golf team had a combined score of 896, +36 which was good enough for seventh place out of thirteen teams.
Sophomore Kevin Melnick led the team shooting a 219, +6. Senior Jan Prokop came in second for the Eagles posting a score of 224, +11. Freshman Luke Feehan came in third for the team and shot a 230, +17. Sophomores Kyle McCartan and John Nurczynski posted a 231, +18 and a 234, +21 respectively to close out the Eagles' top five.
The top three teams at the invitational were Florida Golf Coast University (864, +12), Stetson University (882, +30) and Appalachian State University (884, +32).
The Eagles will be competing in the Big 5 Championship next on October 10.
