Eagles Take First at Rutgers Invitational

Piscataway, NJ- The Boston College women's golf team took first place at the Rutgers Invitational which took place from October 6 to 7. The Eagles had a combined score of 616, +40 and their score of 304 on the second day was good for the lowest of the day.
Sophomore Eunice Yim (151, +7) and Freshman Kaela Klune (152, +8) took the top two spots on the team and finished third and fourth, respectively, out of ninety-three competitors at the invitational. Senior Meghan Martinek (155, +11), sophomore Carolyn Barbee (160, +16) and junior Kelsey Rockey (163, +19) each posted impressive scores that helped their team reach the top spot and the invitational.
Saint John's University (616, +40) and Rutgers University (627, +51) finished second and third, respectively.
The Eagles will be back to competition on October 17 at the Lehigh Invitational in Bethlehem, PA.
