Chesnut Hill, MA - The Boston College Women's Ice Hockey grabbed the number two spot in the Women's Hockey East Preseason Coaches poll that was released at the league's media day on Monday.
BC received two first place votes in the poll to finish behind the University of New Hampshire.
Head Coach Katie King will be looking to take the program to new heights in 2008-09 with an experienced group of upperclassmen and a wealth of untapped talent in the seven new members of the freshman class.
The Eagles begin their season on October 4 at 2 p.m. at Kelley Rink when they take on the Clarkson Golden Knights.
