BC's Co-ed Sailing Team was dominant in this weekend's intersectional regattas. The Eagles won the Hatch Brown Regatta at MIT by over 100 points overall, winning each of the three divisions. Senior Brian Kamilar and sophomore Briana Provancha won A division by over 30 points, sophomore Taylor Canfield and junior Sandy Williams took B division, and seniors Parker Dwyer and Allie Nagle captured C division. The team led the regatta from start to finish, widening their lead with every set. After the first day, BC was up by 59 points. On Sunday, after a long wind delay, the co-ed squad sailed away from the competition, scoring eight top four finishes in the final ten races. Meanwhile, at the US Merchant Marine Academy at King's Point, the squad won the Nevin's Trophy for the fourth time in five years. Seniors Adam Roberts and Carrie Amarante finished third in A division while sophomore Tyler Sinks and senior Lauren Gillooly won B division. But the story of the regatta was freshman Annie Haeger. Annie surprised the fleet by taking second in the Laser Full Rig division, which is typically dominated by men. Full results: http://www.collegesailing.org/regattaLatest.asp?RegattaID=297
