Ritchie Finishes Seventh At Meet Of Champions

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Senior Timothy Ritchie finished in seventh place at Iona's 14th Annual Br. John Doyle Meet of Champions held at Van Cortlandt Park in New York City. Ritchie finished the 8k course in 24:58.2 and Boston College finished in 13th place as a team.
Classmate David Emerson crossed the finish line in second for the Eagles, recording a time of 25:57.2, and 54th overall. Sophomore Ryan Kiracofe crossed the line in 26:18.0 while senior Justin Wheat came in at 26:50.0. Senior Patrick Viklund rounded out the top five with a time of 26:59.2.
Other BC finishers included sophomores Theodore Doyle (27:03.9), Michael Keebler (27:07.9), Philip Woerner (27:12.4), and seniors James LaGreca (27:20.0) and Adam Moitoso (28:19.3).
BC's next event will be in the Murray Keatinge Invitational hosted by Maine on October 4.
