Leigh Kempton Earns ICSA All-America Honorable Mention

CHESTNUT HILL, MA - Boston College junior Leigh Kempton was named to the ICSA All-America team as an honorable mention. Kempton was a key to the Eagles victory on the water as the team won the ICSA National Sailing Championship.

Kempton, a native of Island Heights, New Jersey, finished the season with victories in the A division at the New England Intercollegiate Sailing Conference women's championship and second in her division at the national championship.

Kempton and Emily Flint spurred the BC comeback on the last day of sailing at the National Championship. In the final four races, the Eagles sailors won three of four races.
