Women's Golf Wraps Up Regular Season Action

Tuscaloosa, Ala. - The Boston College women's golf team, competing against some of the top-ranked teams in the country, finished in 11th place out of 12 on Sunday at the Crimson Tide Classic. The Eagles combined for a total score of 975 over the three rounds.
Sophomore Natalie Draganza led the team for the third-straight competition, scoring a 239 (79, 84, 76). Senior Katie Napleton followed with a 26-over-par performance, shooting a 242. Sophomore Meghan Martinek (245), freshman Kelsey Rockey (249) and senior Lara Smilnak (254) also placed for the Eagles.
Alabama turned in a school record 54 hole score of 861 (-3), taking top team honors at the Classic. Alabama junior Kathleen Ekey finished with a 54 hole score of 203 (-13) to win the tournament.
The Eagles will see a two-week break in competition in order to prepare for the ACC Championship held April 18-20. The Championship will be held at the Legends Course:: LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla.
