Nathan Gerbe Earns AHCA All-America First-Team Honors

DENVER - Boston College junior forward Nathan Gerbe has earned American Hockey Coaches Association All-America first-team honors, according to an announcement made by the committee on Friday.
Gerbe, who is one of three finalists for the Hobey Baker award as college hockey's top player, leads Boston College - and the nation - in scoring with 64 points - 33 goals and 31 assists - in 42 games.
The Oxford, Mich., resident earned All-Tournament honors at the NCAA Northeast Regional and captured MVP accolades at the Hockey East Tournament.
Gerbe has registered 129 career points - 69 goals and 60 assists - in 129 games.
Boston College and Notre Dame will face off in the national title game on Saturday, April 12, in the Pepsi Arena in Denver, Colo., at 7 p.m. EST. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN.
