
Volleyball Falls 3-0 To Georgia Tech

The Boston College volleyball team suffered a 3-0 defeat at Georgia Tech in front of 1,248 fans in O'Keefe Gym.
With the loss, the Eagles dropped to 7-23 (1-17 ACC) while the Yellow Jackets improved to 19-9 (11-7 ACC).
BC trailed 11-8 in the first set when Georgia Tech used a 7-0 run to build a comfortable margin. The Yellow Jackets would go on to win by a set score of 25-10.
Georgia Tech opened up a 7-1 lead at the start of the second set, expanding the margin to 14-5. The Eagles won five of the next seven points, including two Taylor Williams kills, to cut the lead to 16-10, but the Yellow Jackets closed out the set with a 9-1 run.
The third set saw eight ties and four lead changed between the two teams. BC opened up a 16-12 lead before Georgia Tech rallied for five straight points to pull ahead. They would close out the match with a 25-21 set victory.
Leading the way for BC was freshman Mollie Kolosky, who registered eight kills, a career high in ACC play. Dani Moskitis had 25 assists, and Kristen Baader added 12 digs to lead the Eagles.
