
Volleyball Falls To Virginia Tech, 3-0

The Boston College women's volleyball team was swept by Virginia Tech by set scores of 25-9, 25-17, and 25-16 at Cassell Coliseum.
With the loss, the Eagles dropped to 7-21 on the season (1-15 ACC) while the Hokies improved to 19-8 (10-6 ACC).
The Hokies opened up the first and last sets with runs of 15-4 and 17-4, putting each out of reach early. In the second set, the Eagles trailed 17-15 before Virginia Tech used an 8-2 run to close out the fram.
Taylor Williams led the Eagles' attack with five kills and three service aces. Brittany Pierpont had 16 assists, and Kristen Baader added nine digs.
BC will conclude its road trip with a game at Virginia on Saturday night at 7 pm.
