
Field Hockey Loses to Duke 5-0

Durham, N.C. - The Boston College Field Hockey team lost to the Duke University Blue Devils on Saturday in Durham, North Carolina Saturday afternoon, 5-0.
Duke got on the board early, scoring less than two minutes into the game with a tip into the cage off of a pass on an offensive corner.
BC had four shots in the cirlce to Duke's 9 and was not able to convert the opportunities. The Eagles entered the second half trailing 2-0.
In the second half of the contest, Duke took control of the game with 17 total shots to the Eagles 4. Julia Berkowtiz tried to keep her team in the game with a nine save performance but the Eagles were unable to put the pressure on Blue Devils.
The Eagles play again tomorrow, taking on Appalachian State hosted by Duke University at 3 p.m.
