
Men's and Women's Swimming Competes At Bucknell

The Boston College men's and women's swimming and diving teams both fell in dual meets at Bucknell. The men's team fell by a score of 174-126, while the women's team totaled 107 points to Bucknell's 182.
The Eagles were led by the efforts of Timothy Corrigan, who won the 200 yard butterfly (1:56.01) by a margin of over three seconds and recorded a victory in the 100 yard butterly (52.33) as well.
The men's team also received a solid effort from John Maloy. The sophomore recorded wins the in the 400 yard individual medley (4:12.30) as well as the 500 freestyle (4:48.77).
The 400 yard freestyle relay team of Dominick Boccio, Juan Perez, Collin Thilo, and Alex Spaeth also won with a time of 3:14.88.
Caroline Byron led the women's team with two victories, winning the 100 yard freestyle (53.23) as well as the 200 yard freestyle (1:55.94).
Distance swimmer Aydan Sarikaya also had two wins for BC, taking home the 1000 yard freestyle (10:37.01) as well as the 500 yard freestyle (5:09.23).
Anna Smith (200 yard butterfly) and Devon Kelly (1 meter diving) also recorded wins for the Eagles.
