
Men's Swimming Defeats Brandeis

The Boston College men's swimming and diving team registered its second win of the season last night, with a 149-109 dual meet win over Brandeis at the Linsey Pool.
John Maloy led the Eagles with wins in three events, including a standout performance in the 200 butterfly (1:58.17), BC's best performance in the event so far this season. Maloy also registered wins in the 200 yard breaststroke (2:16.95) and the 1000 yard freestyle (10:00.05).
Dominick Boccio also contributed two wins for BC, taking home the 50 yard freestyle (1:50.83) as well as the 200 yard freestyle (1:50.83).
The Eagles also benefited from the efforts of Brett Bromann who won the 200 backstroke (2:01.56) as well as Joe Carroll who took first in the 500 freestyle (5:03.86).
The next dual meet for the Eagles will take place this weekend, when BC takes travels to Bucknell on Saturday at noon.
