
#7 Women's Ice Hockey Travels to Providence Saturday

Chestnut Hill, MA - The #7 Boston College Women's Ice Hockey team gets back to action this Saturday against Hockey East rival Providence College, after a two-week break.
BC will travel to Providence on Saturday, October 25, at 2 p.m. The Eagles and the Friars last met in BC's final regular season home game, where a 2-2 tie kept the Eagles out of the post-season. Juniors Tracy Johnson and Kelli Stack both notched goals for the Eagles in the game.
The Eagles are 2-0-2 (0-0-1 in Hockey East) on the season heading into Saturday's game. Providence sports a 2-4-0 (1-1-0 HE) BC is 4-20 on the powerplay so far this season and averaging 3.2 goals per game. Stack currently leads the team in points and goals and is tied for first in assists with fellow junior Allie Thunstrom and freshman Danielle Welch.
Eagles goaltender Molly Schaus has a 1.92 GAA through four games this season with a .932 save percentage.

BC will face-off against Providence on Saturday and return to the Heights on Sunday October 26, at 2 p.m. for a non-conference match-up with the visiting Quinnipiac Bobcats.
