Men's Swimming Falls To Connecticut, 192.5-102.5

The Boston College men's swimming and diving team was edged 192.5-102.5 by Connecticut in its first meet of the season on Oct. 19 at the Wolf-Zackin Natatorium in Storrs, CT.
John Maloy led the Eagles with wins in the 400 yard individual medley (4:13.32), the 500 yard freestyle (4:44.69) and the 1000 yard freestyle (9:49.86).
Dominick Boccio recorded another win for BC in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:45.00.
The Eagles also took first place in the 200 yard freestyle relay as Boccio, Robert Swaninger, Collin Thilo, and Tommy Chandler combined for a time of 1:28.04.
BC will be back in action on Oct. 22 with a short trip to Brandeis University at 6:30 pm.
