
Women's Golf Wins Rutgers Invitational

With a balanced team effort, the Boston College women's golf team won the Rutgers Invitational held on Oct. 10-11 at the Rutgers University Golf Club.
The victory marked the Eagles' first tournament win since April 22, 2007, when BC won the Massachusetts Invitational.
Kelsey Rockey had the top performance among four BC players placed in the Top 16. Rockey finished tied for fifth place, shooting 77 on both Friday and Saturday on the par-72 course.
Eunice Yim and Meghan Martinek each tied for 12th with a score of 158 over two days, and Natalie Draganza followed closely behind with a 159, earning a tie for 16th place.
The Eagles will next play in the Lehigh Invitational on Oct. 27-28, their last tournament of the fall season.
