Men's Golf Finishes 14th at Big Five Classic

The Boston College men's golf team finished in 14th place in the Big Five Classic held on Oct. 11-12 at the Philly Cricket Club in Philadelphia, PA. The Eagles recorded a team score of 632 over the course of the two day tournament.
BC was lead by Craig Kublin, who finished tied for 34th with a two day total of 153 on the par-71 course. Kevin Melnick finished close behind with a 154, for a share of 40th place, while Robert DeMaio rounded out BC's top three in a tie for 60th with a 160.
Temple University won the tournament with a team score of 587. Brendan Kelly of Villanova, and Jake Katz of Binghamton shared the individual crown with an even-par 142.
The Eagles will play their final tournament of the fall season at the Roadrunner Invitational hosted by the University of Texas-El Paso on Oct. 27-28.
