Men's Swimming Drops Meet to BU, 202-98

BOSTON, Mass. - The Boston College men's swimming team (6-7, 0-1 ACC) fell to Boston University (8-2, 3-0 America East), 202-98, Wednesday night in a non-conference meet.
The Eagles managed to win three events on the evening against the Terriers. Dominick Boccio took first place in the 50 free, in a time of 22.25. Boccio also finished second in the 100 free in 48.54.
John Maloy was the other individual event winner for the Eagles. Maloy placed first in the 500 free (4:44.57) and second in the 200 medley (1:58.46).
BC won the final event of the evening, the 200 free relay. Robert Swaninger, Billy Schwitter, Alex Spaeth and Boccio won the event in a time of 1:27.04.
The next meet for the Eagles is on Feb. 2, at Rhode Island. The dual meet is scheduled for 1 p.m.
