Women's Golf Place Fourth in Colonial Intercollegiate

WILLIAMSBURG, Va.--The women's golf team finished strong by tying for fourth with Richmond at the Colonial Intercollegiate tournament held on Monday and Tuesday. Sept. 17 and 18, at the Williamsburg National Golf Club.
Sophomore Natalie Draganza led the Eagles with an eighth-place finish individually, shooting a 151 over two rounds and ending seven-over-par. Seniors Lara Smilnak and Katie Napleton tied for 22nd overall, each shooting a 156 after two rounds.
Longwood University took top honors at the tournament, finishing with a 30-over-par after the two days. Mary Carmody of Longwood was the tournament's individual champion, completing the tournament one-over-par and shooting a 145.
The women's golf team will continue their fall campaign by competing in the Penn State Invitational on Sunday, Sept. 30 and Monday, Oct. 1.
