Johnson Earns All-Tournament Team Honors

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Boston College senior volleyball player Kelsey Johnson earned All-Tournament Team honors at the Harvard Invitational for her efforts in leading the Eagles to a 2-1 record this past weekend.
The Eagles split their first two games of the tournament, falling to Michigan State and then sweeping Wofford College on Friday. BC picked up their second win in Cambridge, Mass. with a sweep of Delaware State on Saturday.
During the invitational, Johnson tallied a match-high in kills twice, and connected on 12 or more kills in all three matches. The best performance for Johnson came against the Hornets of Delaware State. In the match, Johnson recorded 15 kills on 22 attempts, committing only one error for a .636 attacking percentage.
Johnson totaled a team-high 42 kills on 81 attempts while adding nine digs and seven total blocks during the course of the tournament.
BC is back in action on Saturday, Sept. 15, when they host their first Atlantic Coast Conference game against the Maryland Terrapins. Game time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at Power Gym in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
