Williams Earns All-Tournament Honors

NEWARK, Del. - Boston College sophomore volleyball player Taylor Williams showcased her talent during the Delaware Invitational earning her All-Tournament Team honors this past weekend.
Williams, an outside hitter, led BC in kills (30) and service aces (12), and was second in digs (28) during the tournament.
The best statistical game for Williams came in a loss to the Binghamton Bearcats. During the contest, she tallied 15 digs, 13 kills and four service aces.
Other members of the All-Tournament Team included Binghamton's Jacki Kane, South Carolina's Dani Bedore and Megan Laughlin and Delaware's Colleen Walsh, Megan Welch and Stephanie Barry.
Williams and the rest of the Eagles return to the court Thursday, Aug. 30, when they host Northeastern in the first game of the Boston College/Northeastern Invitational. Game time is schedule for 2:00 p.m.
