Volleyball Recruiting Class Among Nation's Best

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Prepvolleyball.com announced the top-30 recruiting class of 2007 and the Eagles' incoming freshman have been selected as the 28th best in the nation.
PrepVolleyball.com numerically ranked its top-30 recruiting schools, while 64 schools were grouped together and received Highest Honorable Mention, High Honorable Mention or Honorable Mention, naming 94 schools in total. Nine schools from the ACC received mention in the rankings.
"This is an incredibly huge honor for our program. We are very grateful for the recognition of these 6 incoming freshman. They are exceptional student athletes who have matching goals and aspirations," commented head coach Andrea Leonard. "John Tawa at Prepvolleyball.com has done an amazing job of compiling this information. We are truly thankful and very excited about our future!"
The Eagles' recruiting class includes Kristin Baader, outside hitter (Stevenson/Lincolnshire, Ill.), Melanie Cimino, middle blocker, (Woodbridge/Irvine,Calif.), Audrey Eichler, middle blocker, (Harvard-Westlake /North Hollywood, Calif.), Gaby Johnson, outside hitter, (Chariton, IA), Dani Moskitis, setter, (Poly/Long Beach, Calif.) and Cathy Quilico, libero, (Westlake/Westlake Village, Calf.)
The Eagles finished the 2006 season with a 12-19 overall record and wa tied for seventh in the ACC standings with a mark of 10-12.
