Jenna McCabe Represents Boston College On All-ACC Team

Chapel Hill, N.C.--Sophomore attacker Jenna McCabe (Brunswick, Maine) was named to the All-ACC women's lacrosse team by the conference on Thursday evening. McCabe is the first Boston College player to receive this honor.
Playing all 14 games, McCabe leads the team in points (38) and goals (33) prior to the ACC quarterfinal round on Thursday. She has also compiled five assists and has won 39 draw controls, good for second on the team and 26th in the nation. The Maine native scored a season-high seven points against Harvard on six goals and one assist, and notched a hat trick against both of the ACC's top two teams, Maryland and Duke.
As a freshman in 2006, McCabe started all 17 games and tallied 16 goals, 11 assists and 27 points overall.
The ACC Championships on the campus of North Carolina began today with both quarterfinal games. The semifinals continue tomorrow, Friday, April 27, at 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., while the final is slated for Sunday, April 29 at 1:00 p.m.
