
Men's Tennis Falls To Toledo

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Men's tennis dropped its second match of a double-header to the University of Toledo last night in Ft. Myers. After falling to FGCU earlier in the day, BC looked to rebound with a win, but fell 5-2 to the Rockets.
In doubles, the Eagles started out with a win as Soma Kesthely and Sam Wagner easily defeated the duo of Travis Curran and Brian Rager, 8-2. However the Rockets captured the doubles point, winning at two and three. Mohammed Al Nabhani and Chris Clark deeated Thomas Nolan and Jason Sechrist at No. 2 doubles, while Keith Moran and Jared Miller sealed the doubled point, defeating Alex Rastorgoev and Brian Garber, 8-2.
On the singles side, Soma Kesthely had a tough match at No. 1, winning the first set 6-4 but then dropped the second and third sets 6-2, 6-2 to Mohammed Al Nabhani. The Rockets then went on to capture two more points with wins at No. 2 by Miller, 6-3, 6-2 and at No. 3 by Clark 6-1,6-1. Freshman Thomas Nolan won his fifth match in his last six, defeating senior Josh Moran at No. 4. Sophomore Alex Rastorgoev picked up the other win for BC defeating Travis Curran, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 at No. 5.
