Eagle Runners Qualify For NCAA Championships

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Two Eagle runners qualified for the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships this past weekend. Freshman Caitlin Bailey, who has been running strong all season, ran the 800m in 2:05.41. Her time is the second-fastest in school history, and is the eighth-fastest time recorded in the nation this year.
Senior Kasey Hill, who is also having an excellent season, qualified for the NCAAs in the pentathlon. Hill's 4016 points placed her third at the ECAC Championships and ranks her 13th in the country. It also represents a new Boston College school record.
The NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held March 9-10 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
