
Men's Tennis Defeats Boston University

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - After a tough loss to Dartmouth earlier in the week, men's tennis responded ina big way by defeating the Terriers of Boston University 7-0 this afternoon at the Flynn Recreation Complex. The win impproves the Eagles' record to 2-4. BU falls to 2-3.
BC had no trouble with the Terriers as they would win all six singles positions without dropping a set. Senior Soma Kesthely got his 10th singles win of the year, as he would win easily at the No. 1 position, 6-1, 6-1. Freshman Thomas Nolan was also impressive as he handily defeated BU's Jeff Chudacoff, 6-0, 6-1, giving him his 13th singles win, a team best.
On the doubles side, the No. 1 tandem of Kesthely and Wagner would break serve at 3-3 and roll to an 8-3 win. The other two doubles matches were a bit closer but each tandem held on for 8-6, and 8-5 wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions respectively.
The Eagles next play on Sunday, February 11 against Virginia Tech in their first ACC match of the season at 12:00 p.m.
