
Volleyball Defeats NC State, 3-1

RALEIGH, N.C. - Kelsey Johnson tallied her 13th double-double of the season, leading the Boston College volleyball team past the NC State Wolfpack, 3-1, Sunday afternoon.
Johnson totaled a match-high 26 kills and tallied 13 digs to up BC's record to 6-10 in the Atlantic Coast Conference, 12-14 overall. The loss drops NC State to 0-16 in the ACC, 3-23 overall.
The Eagles won the first two games, 30-26 and 30-16. After being edged in game-three, 30-28, BC bounced back to win game-four, 30-27, to take the match 3-1.
Cathy Quilico registering a match-high 25 digs in the win. Tori Thompson tallied 13 digs, while Kristin Whalley chipped in with nine digs for the Eagles.
On the offensive side, Audrey Eichler and Taylor Williams totaled double-digit kill performances, recording 13 and 10 on the afternoon.
The next game for the Eagles is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 9 in Tallahassee, Fla. against Florida State at 7 p.m.
