Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Boston College women's lacrosse Head Coach Bowen Holden announced two winter lacrosse clinics that will be held in January. The first, a one-day clinic on Jan. 11, is for current fifth through eighth graders and the second, a two-day clinic on Jan. 12-13, is for current high school athletes. The clinic will be coached by Holden and assistant coaches Joanne Connelly and Kevin O'Brien, as well as current members of the Eagle lacrosse team.
The Jan. 11 clinic is a one-day clinic (5-8 p.m.) catered toward athletes looking to improve skills and first-time lacrosse players. Goalies will have individualized sessions while field players will work in skill groups.
The Jan. 12-13 clinic is a two-day clinic (Noon- 4p.m.) that will focus on both individual and team skills. The first day will be dedicated toward honing individual skills and the second day will put them to use in a 3v3 round-robin tournament.
