CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The Boston College volleyball team dropped an Atlantic Coast Conference matchup to the North Carolina Tar Heels Friday evening, 3-0.
The Eagles now own an 11-14 overall record, 5-10 in ACC play. North Carolina improves to 11-13 overall, 7-8 in the ACC.
BC fell in game-one, 30-23. The loss was followed by dropping games two and three, 30-14 and 30-26.
Melanie Cimino registered a career-high in total attacks (12), tied a career-high in kills (6) and totaled an attacking percentage of .312. Kelsey Johnson tallied a team-high 14 kills, while also recording eight digs for the Eagles.
Tori Thompson tallied a team-high 10 digs, while Cathy Quilico chipped in with nine digs of her own.
BC is back on the court, Sunday Nov. 4 at NC State. Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
