Volleyball Swept by Miami, 3-0

CORAL GABLES, Fla. - Freshman setter Dani Moskitis recorded her fourth double-double of the season, but the Boston College volleyball team was swept by the Miami Hurricanes, 3-0, Sunday afternoon in Atlantic Coast Conference action.
Moskitis totaled 33 assists and chipped in 10 digs for the Eagles, which now own a 6-12 record in ACC play, 12-16 overall. The win improves the Hurricanes to 12-15 overall and 6-12 in the ACC.
The Hurricanes took game-one, 30-21 against the Eagles. Miami kept rolling against BC, taking game-two, 30-26, and game-three, 30-24 to earn the win.
Senior Kelsey Johnson registered a team-high 11 kills, while freshman libero Cathy Quilico tallied 12 digs for the Eagles.
BC is back on the court Friday, Nov. 16 against the Virginia Cavaliers. Game time is scheduled for 8 p.m. at Power Gymnasium.
