Women's Lacrosse Announces 2006 Fall Schedule

Chestnut Hill, Mass.-The Boston College women's lacrosse team announced its 2006 fall schedule today.
The fall schedule begins on September 24 in Durham, New Hampshire at the UNH Tournament where the Eagles will face Holy Cross and the host team, UNH. Boston College will participate in the Beanpot Tournament hosted by Boston University on September 30. The Eagles are slated to meet Boston University, Brown and Harvard on Nickerson Field.
The team will travel to Fairfax, Virginia for the George Mason Tournament on October 21 and then to Storrs, Connecticut on October 28 for the UConn Tournament. The schedules for both tournaments are yet to be announced.
The Boston College women's lacrosse team finished 8-9 in 2006 with a 1-4 ACC record. The Eagles return 17 letterwinners from last year's team and welcome seven newcomers to the roster.
