Women's Sailing Finishes Seventh at National Championships

Charleston, S.C. - Leigh Kempton and Emily Flint earned a fourth place finish in the A Division as the Boston College women's sailing team completed the season by finishing seventh at the National Championships in Charleston, S.C.
The host school, College of Charleston held off 18 schools for the title, finishing first in the A division and fourth in the B division. The Eagles took ninth in the B division, collecting a total of 161 points.
The Co-ed National Championships begin today, with the races concluding on Friday. The Eagles enter the event ranked second in the nation despite boasting the youngest squad in the 18-team field.
