The Boston College women's golf team finished 10th out of 15 teams at the Lady Hoya Invitational and Emily Cannon was the Eagles top finisher, placing 22nd. The invitational was a two-round event on a par-72 course that ran 6,296 yards.
Emily Cannon tied for 22nd with rounds of 83 and 79 for a two-day total of 162. Lara Smilnak finished in 28th place. Smilnak shot rounds of 85 and 79.
Elizabeth Friel finished 40th overall, and Kathryn Mohr and Katie Napleton rounded out the field for the Eagles.
The Eagles tee-off on Monday, April 10, and Tuesday, April 11, at the Hartford Invitational. The invitational is hosted by the Univeristy of Hartford.
