Women's Golf Finishes Second at Hartford Invitational

Hartford, Conn. - The Boston College women's golf team had a strong showing finishing second at the Hartford Women's Invitational on Monday, April 10, and Tuesday, April 11. Emily Cannon finished tied for third place overall.
The course ran 5,817 yards and was a par-73 course.
Cannon shot rounds of 82 and 78 for a two-day total of 160, while Lara Smilnak placed eighth overall with a two-day total of 166.
Elizabeth Friel and Katie Napleton tied for 16th after two rounds. Their totals came to 171. Kathryn Mohr rounded out the field for the Eagles placing 26th overall.
The Eagles return to action on Friday, April 14 at the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship. The Championship concludes on Sunday, April 16.
