Durham, N.C. - Five women's track and field athletes competed at the Duke Invitational in Durham, N.C. on Friday, April 7, and Saturday, April 8.
Mary Heitkamp ran her fastest time of the year in the 800-meter run, clocking in at two minutes, 13.02 seconds.
Nichole Lister finished eighth in the 1500 with a time of 4:31.28.
Mallory Champa finished ninth overall in the 5000, finishing in 17:11.44, her fastest time of the year. Maria Cicero placed 13th overall.
Anne Hessberg also turned in her best performance of the season with a 10:46.04 finish in the 3,000 steeplechase.
