Men's Tennis Loses To UC Irvine

Irvine, Calif. - The Boston College men's tennis team dropped the first match of its west coast trip to UC-Irvine 6-1 in Irvine, Calif.
Soma Kesthely started the Eagles off with hard-fought 6-7, 7-5 (10-8) win over Irvine's No. 1 Mustafa Ulukan. The rest of the singles matches were handled in straight sets by the Anteaters.
On the doubles side, BC was able to capture one win as Kesthely teamed with Jason Sechrist to top Victor Lamm and Andrei Radulescu 8-3.
The Eagles continue play Tuesday against UC-San Diego at 2:00 p.m.
