Rehobeth Beach, Del. - The Boston College golf team placed 15th at the George Washington Invitational on Saturday, March 25, and Sunday, March 26, in Bethany Beach, Del. The Eagles competed against 25 other teams in the two-round event. The Invitational was played on a par-72 course that ran 6,834 yards.
Bob Reed finished tied for 18th with rounds of 76 and 73 for a two-day total of 149. Alex Snickenberger shot rounds of 78 and 75 for 41st, while Kyle Kelly, Ryan Sturma and Jim Granello rounded out the field for the Eagles.
The Eagles faced 132 other golfers in the Invitational.
Boston College tees-off again on April 2 and 3 at the Bridgestone Intercollegiate in Greensboro, N.C. The event is hosted by the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
