Men's Hockey To Face Miami (Ohio) In NCAA Tournament

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College men's hockey team earned a No. 3 seed in the Northeast Region of the NCAA Tournament and will face No. 2 seed Miami (Ohio) on Friday, March 24 at 7 p.m. at the DCU Center in Worcester, Mass.
The Eagles are making their eighth appearance in the last nine seasons in the NCAA Tournament.
Boston College and Miami (26-8-4) will be meeting for third time in series history and the first time in NCAA Tournament play. BC holds a 1-2-0 record in the all-time series, which dates to the first meeting on December 29, 1992, a 6-3 Miami win. The Eagles and Red Hawks last met on December 28, 2001 in the first round of the Silverado Shootout at Duluth Arena in Duluth, Minn., a 5-1 BC win.
