
No. 63 Women's Tennis Tops Tulsa 4-3

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Two doubles wins gave the No. 63 Boston College women's tennis team the deciding point and moved them back over .500, defeating Tulsa 4-3 in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
Szilvia Szegedi gave the Eagles an early advantage at No. 1 singles defeating Daniela Muscolino 6-4, 6-2. No. 96 ranked Lana Krasnopolsky dominated Thalia Diaz-Barriga 6-0, 6-1, while Alina Sullivan was equally as impressive in taking out Tiffany Smith 6-1, 6-1.
Tulsa won the other three singles matches, but BC was able to secure the win when doubles tandems of Krasnopolsky and Dasha Cherkasov and Sullivan and Sarah Svoboda earned wins and give the Eagles the deciding point.
The Eagles, now 6-5, resume play March 25 against No. 37 Clemson at 11 a.m. in South Carolina.
