
Women's Tennis Drops 4-3 Decision To FSU

Cambridge, Mass. - The Boston College women's tennis team dropped its second ACC match of the season in a hard faught 4-3 decision to Florida State at Harvard University's Murr Center.
The top three singles for the Eagles won their matches. Szilvia Szegedi and Dasha Cherkasov won in straight sets, while Lana Krasnopolsky needed three to defeat Alina Mihailescu 6-0, 5-7, 6-4.
The deciding point came on the doubles where Cherkasov and Krasnopolsky won their match, but the Eagles dropped the other two to take the 4-3 loss.
The Eagles will meet No. 13 Miami on Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Murr Center in Cambridge, Mass.
